About Me.

I grew up in the Mat Su Valley of Alaska. I worked in a meat department for 20 years at the big grocery chain. Volunteered at local foodbank for three years.  On the off days I would head for the hills where I discovered how much healthier I was connecting to nature. I have  always been in love with the outdoors, but did not like doing it alone. I went on what I call my Freedom Hike. Took myself and our blue heeler to a local camp spot and faced my fears. The growth I have gained since that day has lead me many places. Wanting to help others, I decided to make a business out of sharing my  passions. I became a ski instructor and started climbing mountains.  Alpine is a great challenge however a trail to any view is also completely empowering.
